Juliette Kayyem

We are delighted that Cambridge's own Juliette Kayyem will be our speaker when the CDCC meets on September 28!

Juliette was President Obama's Assistant Secretary for Intergovernmental Affairs at the Department of Homeland Security, following her tenure as Governor Deval Patrick's homeland security advisor. Currently she is the Belfer Lecturer in International Security at the Kennedy School, a regular on-air national security analyst for CNN, a weekly featured analyst on Boston Public Radio, and much more.

Time for a quick disclaimer — the world is a crazy place, and Juliette is often called at the last minute to respond to breaking news. If that happens on September 28th, it will be the world's gain… but our loss! So let's hope that a certain pair of Dear Leaders with funny haircuts behave themselves near the end of September!

Come join us Thursday, September 28th at 7:00 PM in the Graham & Parks School Cafeteria.
